We're thrilled to announce that g4g is teaming up with our global partner, Nokia, to launch for the first time in the vibrant city of Shanghai, China!

Together with a dedicated team, we are welcoming 100 girls aged 11-15 from the local community to spend a day full of interactive and fun discovery in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at the Shanghai Nokia premises

What? Welcoming 100 girls aged 11-15 from local communities to come and join us for a day filled with interactive and hands-on fun in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

How? We invite role model professionals to lead 60 minute workshops that show the link to STEM, with 10 - 12 girls in one workshop. Girls will have a chance to experience 4 workshops throughout the day.

Meet the Team!

She joined Nokia in 2001. As a test engineer, she has been working on mobile communication from the second generation to the fourth generation for more than fifteen years, and witnesses that Science and Technology enriches our lives. As a thirteen-year-old girl's mother, she is always keen on searching for the mysteries of STEM with her daughter.

Having grown up wanting to be Indiana Jones, Alexaundra loves to find new ways to combine her passions for science, history, languages and world travel. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree and co-teaching an after school science program.

Project Manager, g4g

From Nokia's Mobile Networks department, acting as secretary of Youth League general branch, she will be responsible for coordinating volunteers of g4g Day @Shanghai event. Being a graduate of Computer Science and Technology program, she always keeps being curious about the world.

From global communications & event coordinating, she manages various g4g internal projects, creates science workshops, supervises our lovely young interns and ambassadors and loves to lead the DNA workshop across the globe! Melissa Rancourt, Chairman & Founder. Melissa is an engineer herself and loves the Big Bang TV show. So much so that she does a workshop based on it which has proved to be one of the favourites of the girls.
