We are thrilled to launch a g4g@work event with our global partner AIG, a leading global insurance company, in the historic and exciting city of... Dublin, Ireland!!

A special group of 80 girls aged 11-15 will have the chance to spend a day engaged in hands-on workshops on science, engineering, sports & safety, and technology all while interacting with inspiring role-model professionals! 

From learning to code, to testing out Virtual Reality, to discovering the fun in chemistry by extracting your own DNA, and so much more, girls will be able to explore all the fun in STEM! Plus... we will have a very special visit from some Dublin GAA ladies to explore the science behind sports!

What? We welcome 80 girls aged 11-15 to a g4g@work day event of interactive, hands-on, unbelievable fun in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics!

How? We invite role model professionals to lead 45 minute workshops that show the link to STEM, with 10 - 12 girls in one workshop. Girls will have a chance to experience 4 workshops throughout the day.

The sessions included learning and experiencing cutting-edge technology behind the HAKA 360 Virtual Reality (including an intro from star All Blacks Rugby player Aaron Cruden), A Prize for Safety where the girls try on safety equipment and learn about the importance of a warm-up, guessing what's inside your 'excercise smoothie' during the nutrition break - Power from what you Eat, and finally interactively learning - Can Physics Help your Game? led by the g4g team!

Jelena Lucin is our Project Manager & Science Advisor in Brussels HQ. From global communications & event coordinating, she manages various g4g internal projects, creates science workshops,  supervises our lovely young interns and ambassadors and loves to lead the DNA workshop across the globe! She loves all things science, but what really gets her going is studying the core of all living things... the molecules of life! Get in contact with here here!
