We are looking for a:

Project & Event Coordinator

We are an enthusiastic and curious international team dedicated to inspire girls (and boys) of all ages and backgrounds in all things science & technology – and we are looking for a part-time Project & Event Coordinator to join us! In this role, you would be responsible for managing, organizing, and leading STEM events in schools and at our headquarter office such as after-school activities or workshops, as well as assisting in the planning and leading of local and international STEM events. This role would be on a project-based stipend and can be flexible depending on your availability.

Abilities and Experience:

  • University graduate

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Fluency in English, as it’s the dominant working language. Other languages are a huge plus (especially French and Dutch)

  • Have experience teaching and/or educating children of various ages

  • Have experience engaged in various aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

  • Ability to work on Wednesday afternoons and some Saturdays

  • Legally allowed to work in Belgium with freelance/independent status

What would make our atoms REALLY get into an excited state would be…

  • You have experience managing events and projects, especially international ones… Or you’re ready to convince us that you can!

  • You enjoy and/or are open to some travel as part of the role

  • You are collaborative & independent – we have a lovely and cosy workshop and co-working space and would ask that you to be able to work collaboratively and contribute to the team, while still being able to manage your time and work autonomously.

  • Must love to learn! Our team comes from different academic backgrounds, but we all have one thing in common - the desire to learn more about the fast & innovative world of science & technology.

  • Passion. We love people who show strong support to our cause and in addition encourage you to bring your passions and quirks to the table.
