On October 14…

We are thrilled to be hosting an online episode of our very own Science, you had me at hello® in partnership with AIG.

This time, we will explore the theme of ‘Agility’. When the world calls us to respond quickly to new and unexpected situations, agility helps us keep on track. Our ability to learn quickly, to change directions while still keeping our balance and knowing how to apply our energy, will give us just those needed skills to tackle dynamic challenges all around us. Ready to grab your spot and sign-up?!

In our Broadcast, we invite awe-inspiring role models to share that ONE moment where they knew that science and their being were inexplicably intertwined. These are stories told LIVE. Participants can interact with these amazing speakers, virtually travel into their daily life, and ask them questions. Our broadcast last approximately an hour and include a innovative and hands-on experiment that you can all replicate at home! All are welcome though this broadcast is aimed at girls aged 15+.

Curious to see who will join us LIVE?

What: Our seventh broadcast episode will gather inspiring STEM role models, excited to share their stories, their inspiration, their wishes with the attendees.

When: October 14, 4:30 pm BST (5:30 pm CEST). Our broadcast will last for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Where: This live broadcast will take place on the platform Zoom. Please be reassured that we are utilizing Zoom’s safety functions and that we will be monitoring online safety during the broadcast by having a Safety Officer as part of our dedicated behind-the-scenes team.

Why: From our own Impact studies, we know that one thing is key to inspiring girls to pursue STEM subjects – and that is, to provide a community of role models. Tailored to our older g4g students who are determining what studies to pursue in university, our broadcasts “Science, you had me at hello® connect female scientists and STEM leaders to the next generation of potential engineers, scientists and curiosity-filled young women. They are designed to encourage you to think about what inspires you, to begin to contemplate your purpose and to create some ideas on how you can get there.
