On 12 August…

You're invited for this very special episode of Science, you had me at hello® , organised in partnership with CDK Global.

For the second year in a row, g4g and CDK Global, a leader in the automotive industry, have partnered up to organize an innovative and community-focused STEM Challenge over the summer! During this six week program, 136 CDK Global interns have to come together to bring the technology and innovation of CDK to life, by creating hands-on experiment and impact videos to show what the future of STEM holds and to benefit their communities. On 12 August… they share the results with us!

Our wonderful jury of STEM experts reviewed their videos and will feature the winning teams during this broadcast episode! The interns will also have a chance to share with us their journey, the challenges they faced, their own inspiration in STEM, their learning outcome, and more. We’ll also be joined by some of CDK Global’s leadership.

Our broadcast will last an hour and a half (approx.) and all are invited t o attend: girls boys,, and adults alike! Please note, once you register, you will receive the official link to join the call a few hours before the event.

What: Our broadcast will gather inspiring STEM role models, excited to share their stories, their inspiration, their wishes with the attendees.

When: Thursday, August 12th, at 12pm Pacific time / 3pm Eastern time / 9pm Central European time. Our broadcast will last for 1 hour and a half.

Why: From our own Impact studies, we know that one thing is key to inspiring girls to pursue STEM subjects – and that is, to provide a community of role models. Tailored to our older g4g students who are determining what studies to pursue in university, our broadcasts “Science, you had me at hello® connect female scientists and STEM leaders to the next generation of potential engineers, scientists and curiosity-filled young women. They are designed to encourage you to think about what inspires you, to begin to contemplate your purpose and to create some ideas on how you can get there.
