If the designated pick-up person is other than the parent, we will ask for you to provide this information to the registration team when you arrive in the morning.

  • Registration starts at 9:00, and you will want as much time as possible to have a snack and customize your very own lab-coat! Our first group activity starts at 10:00.

  • Upon entering, you will see the registration tables where you can sign in, choose your schedule for the day, and begin customizing your labcoat.

  • Please leave your valuables at home! ISB and the organizers of this event are not responsible for any valuables that may get lost or stolen.

  • Special requirements: You’ve already indicated if there are any special needs (accessibility, diet, medication, etc.) but if you need to tell us anything further or if something changed, please let us know once you arrive, or by email prior to the even (info@greenlightforgirls.org). Our team members are certified in First Aid and we will be on standby!

VI. Workshops

We have done our best to ensure everyone has hands-on and exciting activities in each of their groups – and we can’t wait for you to see the overall list on the day! Thanks to all our wonderful partners, we have new workshops waiting for you as well some of our signature workshops which have been re-designed. So, even if you pick a schedule with workshop titles that sound familiar, we are sure you will have fun and discover new things no matter what! Group leaders will be responsible for taking each group of girls through the workshops, so your girls will be in great hands.

 VII. Groups

Upon their arrival the morning of the event, we will sort the girls in groups. There will be approximately 15 girls per group and each group will go through four different activities throughout the day.

If you'd like to attend the event with a friend, we invite you to arrive together the morning of the event so you can try to pick the same group.

We do our best to include all wishes but as always, the groups will be sorted on a first come, first serve basis. Thank you for understanding we can't guarantee you and your friend will be in the same group the day of the event.

VIII. Lunch and Snacks

  • Lunch will be served at 12:30. We are planning a menu with choices that can accommodate different dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan and some lactose-free options. However, if you have exceptional requirements, we recommend that you bring your own lunch, just in case.

  • Snacks! We provide a small snack in the morning and afternoon – but please feel free to bring anything in addition to this with you.

IX. Photos & Video

We are planning to capture the memories of the day in photographs and videos which we use to encourage girls to participate in future events around the world. If you have any concerns, please let us know.

X. Departure

At 16:00, our g4g day @Brussels will finish (aww!) and you can pick the girls up at the High School where you dropped them off. Thanks in advance for your patience during this process!

XI. Protocol

We are grateful for the fantastic facilities generously provided to us by the International School of Brussels. We ask you to help us make sure we leave ISB just as lovely as when we found it!

XII. The Last Word

We hope that all of you have fun, learn something new, and find inspiration in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics of everyday life!! And if you have any question before the big day… just be in touch: info@greenlightforgirls.org !

Looking forward to seeing all of you on Saturday!

Best regards,

The g4g Team
