History & goals

Although our global partnership was established just recently in January 2020, our work together has been a long one... and of course, one with a story! One of incredibly passionate greenlight girls from Brazil ended moving to Luxembourg to begin working at Vodafone, and couldn't wait to bring the idea of working together with her. Together with Vodafone Luxembourg Foundation, we launched our first event at their offices in 2018 where we welcomed 50 girls from Luxembourgish schools and 20+ Vodafone employees. The event was such a success that we tripled our reach in 2019, welcoming 150 girls, across a 2-day event, and inviting ALL schools in Luxembourg thanks to support from the Ministry of Education.

Our work with Vodafone continues to grow around the world as we link together the fun in STEM with design procurement, 5G technology, programming, engineering and more. We're excited to grow together and collaborate at other science events in Luxembourg and beyond, such as Arch Summit Luxembourg.
