Our amazing mentors
Throughout the next few months, we have the opportunity to highlight role model volunteers from various companies. Our programme combines sustainability, innovation, and STEM to challenge girls aged 12-15 to design a sustainable invention for their future classroom. With 12 schools across Belgium and the US, we are thrilled to welcome over 100 participants and almost as many mentors and role-models!
We are giving employees from across STEM fields the opportunity to shine, showcase their talents and expertise, inspire others with their journey, but also represent their company. We are thrilled to invite professionals in the fields of Biodiversity and Sustainability, Circular economy, Alternative energies, Innovation and more.

In her role she uses a combination of statistical and machine learning tools to solve problems in manufacturing and research and development. She received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Sreyoshi Bhaduri juggles numbers and data to help her company make decisions regarding organizational effectiveness, culture, and talent. She has interdisciplinary expertise with a Ph.D. in Engineering Education and Master’s degrees in Statistics and Mechanical Engineering. She is also a maker of lists and itineraries, who likes statistics, loves dogs, practices feminism, dabbles in writing, and enjoys tea and long conversations.

Emily Connor owns a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. After graduating, she started at Covestro where she was exposed to a variety of research and development and engineering roles. She found her home as a digital engineer in Covestro where she creates software to help make the day-to-day processes and the business more efficient and innovative.

Nikki has a BS in chemical engineering and has worked at Covestro in procurement roles for the last 14 years. Throughout this time, she has spent time in various countries and locations. Since 2013 she has been involved with various projects and roles regarding sustainability and innovation as well as helping to develop a number of procurement strategies, energy strategies, and also helped to led our regional organization.

Neha comes from a small town in India and was born in an Agricultural family. During her studies she was fascinated with how much chemistry is all around us. Chasing her American dream, she went to the USA to complete her Doctoral degree. Today, she produces interesting chemicals and polymers that we all use, like Gorilla Glue, paints used in construction, the material from optic glasses, material to make 3D printed shoes etc. In 2021, Neha is announced to receive the 'STEP AHEAD AWARD' by Manufacturing Institute, USA for her contribution in Industry and community.

Emily is a Jersey girl who decided she wanted to move to the Adirondack Mountains when she was 18 to pursue a Bachelors of Science degree. She earned her degree in Natural Resource Conservation Management and went on to work at a local land trust, doing conservation work. Emily is passionate about protecting the Adirondack park, conservation, gardening, and painting.

When I am not working or volunteering, I am itching to explore new cities and I love playing tennis.

Marina also advocates for a work-health balance and will give you endless unsolicited advice about standing desks.
